October 11: Chichibu Ryusei Festival

Sunday, October 11, Reiwa 8, marks the annual grand festival of Muku Shrine, located in Shimo-Yoshida, Chichibu City!

When the Ryusei fireworks are lit, they soar 300 meters into the sky with a thunderous roar.
It is said that the name “Ryusei” originated because this sight resembles a dragon ascending to heaven.
